Keep up the good work Bob. I feel sure that the vast majority of informed Irontonians are behind you 100%. Ironton, OH
I see a great number of people in our town with blinders on and it disgusts me. No one is willing to speak out until he or she is directly affected. I know, because I was one of them. Again, I applaud your efforts in working for what's right. Also, you know that they'll be out to get you for these actions. I pray that this won't happen. God knows we could use some help in getting this area going again financially, as well as morally. Keep up the good work. Ironton, OH
I like your web site. Found it interesting. Ironton, OH
Thanks for the website. Ironton, OH
I enjoyed your website and should be coming home in late April or early May. Look forward to meeting you. Las Vegas, NV
I really like your website. Ironton, OH
Wondering if you are going to be able to post the meeting agendas on your website. As you know, it is hard for many people to get to the city building to take a look. Thanks and keep up the good work! Ironton, OH
You're my kind of councilman. Open the flood gates, stand back, and let the truth flush them out. Maybe when it has run its course, we can regain our community!!! Very good work. Well done. I'm with you to the end. Ironton, OH
Like your website. Sure will get it to other people. Ironton, OH
Just wanted to let you know I've been visiting your page and wanted to congratulate you on your professionalism. I think it's great information and thanks for the links. I agree with your stance on the issues, now we just have to figure out how to make them a reality. I know your hands are tied with the other councilmen that vote in opposition. You're right though, we need more people to attend the meetings. The citizens of Ironton want to help, they just need to be led.
The website is GREAT!!! You've really done a top-notch job on the site. Congratulations on a first class job! Ironton, OH
I enjoyed your website, and I will be visiting it often in the future. It feels good to read something progressive and positive about "home". I congratulate you on your efforts and your dedication to improving the lives of people in my "hometown." Look forward to seeing some photos from the Memorial Day Parade as I can't be there this year. Again, I wish you the best and THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Brooklyn, NY
I congratulate you on a great website. The many pictures of the old
Ironton are wonderful.
Is it possible to make them larger, say 40-50K? Again, great website -
keep up the good work. Lexington, KY
I am currently living in Austin, TX and will visit your website regularly. Thanks for all of your hard work and efforts in putting this together. Austin, Texas
Just wanted to let you know, that as a former Irontonian, I enjoyed and appreciated your website. It's nice to know a little about what's going on "back home". I see that things haven't changed in the job area and I agree wholeheartedly with your thoughts about working on Ironton's industrial area and bringing in better/higher-paying jobs locally. You are putting the information out there and "knowing is half the battle". The more people are informed, the more likely they are to do something about it. Keep up the fight! California
I really enjoyed "going home" on your website. The pictures of the homes are wonderful and the news related items and meeting info is very informative. I graduated when "our" town was much more family friendly. I miss those days where there were generations of families...from great grandparents on. Ironton is a beautiful place and with the right help it can be that way financially again. I plan to come back to the website again and again. Thanks so much and keep up the good work! Riverside, CA.
My sister still lives in Ironton. Your website brings back many memories. Thanks so much. Now when I get homesick I will go to your website. Thanks again. Location Unknown
I really like your website and the pictures are great. Sent it to relatives whom all graduated from IHS and live elsewhere now. Hope you get pictures of the razing of a plant that supported a lot of Ironton families through the years. That is a very sad sight, but needs to be kept in our memories. Keep the good work going. Location Unknown
Thank you for being Ironton's Watchdog. It is about time a local
elected official stood-up to the powers holding this community back. I
want you to know that I have joined your Watchdog Club and will have my eyes
open for any improprieties within our city. Also, I want one of
those cool Watchdog hats.
Your website is the BEST in the TRI-STATE! I am sure that our
local leaders are envious of the website you have placed on the Internet.
The City of Ironton does not even have a site! Your site also blows
the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce's site away. Because of your
efforts, pictures and information about Ironton are now available to the entire
world.
I urge you to stay in politics. You are the change agent that the
residents of Ironton desperately need. Don't be discouraged by a
handful of people set on keeping Ironton as a Third-World community.
The majority of people in this city want you to continue and even escalate your
efforts. Ironton, OH
Just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed viewing your web site. Thanks for being dedicated in putting the news out for others to read. Keep up the good work. Ironton, OH
Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your website and the joy looking through it has brought me. Location Unknown

web site. I have enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work.
I would like to make a request. I would like to see a picture of the
football team. I still have family there and a nephew who is playing this
year.
I do not get back as often as I would like. But now with you site, I know more
about what is going on and I can see the changes. St.
Peters, MO
I enjoyed looking at all the pictures and things. I am not in Ironton now, but I can see it anytime I want to.
I received it through Tigertown. I wanted you to know that I really enjoyed those pictures. And knowing that anytime I want to see Ironton, I can go in there and see Ironton and especially the river. I still miss the river.
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your website. It is good to be able to see photos of Tiger football and the school. Ironton will always be HOME! Thanks!! Florida

I would like to commend you on the updates that you send out weekly. I currently live in Kansas City and enjoy catching the news and looking at a few of the pictures to keep up with what is "happening" in the ole hometown. Kansas City, MO
Nice website! Boulder, CO
I have enjoyed your site and your pictures--good job promoting Ironton as well as keeping us transplants informed. Clovis, NM
I enjoyed looking at the pictures from the Veterans' Memorial dedication ceremony. Location Unknown
I would like to take the time to personally thank you for your efforts to bring back the industry the town truly deserves. Washington, DC
Nice site on the old Tigers! Dublin, OH
I did a Yahoo search and came up with your website. Thank you for a few old memories. I visited Ironton this summer to show our daughter my hometown. It brought tears to my eyes to see what was no longer. Chino Hills, CA
I really enjoy all facets of your Web site and appreciate all you've done for Ironton. I hope we haven't seen the last of you in public life. Ironton, OH
I was searching an the Internet (houses for sale) and I found you Web site. My family and I will soon be moving to Ironton. My husband is being relocated to Ironton. We didn't know what that city looked like. Thanks to you we now see how the city looks and we like it. Location Unknown
Thank you for sharing my hometown with me. I have lived in Cincinnati almost 30 years, but Ironton will always be my home. I really enjoyed the pictures of the flood and the money. You do a really great job. Cincinnati, OH
I grew up in Ironton, moving away after college. I really enjoyed seeing your photos! I traded the hills of southern Ohio for the mountains of Alaska. Eagle River, AK
I enjoyed the pictures. Keep up the good work! My wife and I were born in Ironton in the early 50's. We moved to upstate NY. I had never heard about Ironton money. I got a real kick out of that! Rochester, NY
Just
wanted to quickly say thanks for all the photographs!
I don’t get back to Ironton much, but I certainly appreciate you
sharing your work.
I feel like I’ve got a connection to my hometown through your
photographs.
Thanks for the great pictures. I live in Tallahassee, Florida and truly enjoy seeing pictures of home. Tallahassee, FL
Thanks for sharing "Ironton" with all of us "out-of-towners".
I'm sure I'm not speaking only for myself when I say it is a wonderful site.
I really enjoyed the photos of the cannons at Woodland that you presented a few
months ago. Location Unknown
Its nice to see someone willing to stand up for Ironton. I just ran
into your website this morning while
I was looking up jobs in Ironton. I am very impressed with your website
and with your views of what Ironton needs. I think our council people
should adopt the song by Toby Keith ('A little less talk & a lot more
action'). If they did this they may just get a lot more done for the
people of Ironton. Well Bob, thank you for your time. I will be
reading Watchdog as time permits me to. Ironton, OH
I was raised in Ironton and graduated from Ironton High. Your photos are great! Location Unknown
I enjoy your photos so much. I couldn't
believe how fast you had the Memorial Day Parade on your Website.
Thanks again from me and everyone else who enjoys/appreciates the site so much. It sure keeps those of us who don't live in Ironton anymore up on what is happening there. Location Unknown
I like the dirt, especially the truck taking the water out of one of the city's hydrants to an unknown location. About time someone has the guts to dig deep and look behind the scenes. Thanks! "I give it to 'em loud and dirty, that way they'll remember." -General Patton South Korea
You have made a sight that is so interesting. I hope to stay in contact with you because you make the online version of Ironton what it really is and you speak it how it is too! Thanks again for the website. Job well done. Las Vegas, NV
That was very nice to check mail and have pictures from home. Thank you so much. I didn't get to come home for the parade and haven't been to one in years. It was nice to see the pictures and show friends here in Chicago. Keep them coming. Chicago, IL
I don't know you but certainly appreciate the pictures of the parade. I actually did get to come home again this year and had a great time.
It is so sad to see the little town going down hill and experiencing such challenges. Ironton needs revenue and excitement. That parade could be marketed and bring in the natives along with strangers. Location Unknown
Enjoying your pictures of Ironton, parades, and proms. Since there are several of us down here in Florida that are graduates of St. Joseph High School, could you put some of the school activities on your site of our school? Thanks again. It is so much more informative that the Ironton Tribune. FL
Thank you so much for all the pictures that you put on your web site. It brought back so many good memories from when we lived back in Ironton. We have been down here in Louisiana now for 33 years and we sure miss the Memorial Day Parade. They don't have any thing like that in the South. Ironton always had the best parades. Keep up the good work you are doing. Enjoyed it so much. LA
I enjoyed looking at the pictures of the truckers on their way into the county and thence to a dirt road. It's good that someone is keeping the heat on Third and Vernon! "Sound Off" isn't nearly as good as this website. Ironton, OH
I just visited your website. Haven't been there in a long time. Looks good. Keep up the good work. As a former Irontonian, I'm interested in keeping in touch with Ironton events even though I'm living in New York.
When I return home it saddens me to see the condition of things. I've traveled to many small towns and seen how they are able to promote what they have even though economic times are not the best for small town America. When will people in Ironton wake up and smell the coffee. Has Ironton tried to capitalize on what it has? This Southern Ohio region is rich in history. For instance, we boast of having the oldest Memorial Day Parade. I'm in town now. Are there signs and banners advertising the parade? Is there a visible sign from the highway exit? No. New York
Great job on the web site! My husband and I were born there and so were our two children. When they became teenagers, we saw the town falling apart quickly due to certain people not wanting any business in that town for fear of competition. If you didn't have the correct last name, you weren't anything and nothing would be done to help you in a crisis.
Growing up, I remember our parents saying that one day that town would be a "ghost town" and they were right. How can you grow and prosper if there aren't any businesses moving into the area? How can you provide a decent future for your children and grandchildren if you don't let the future catch up with the town? If just a certain few people have control, how can you grow and prosper? The deceit and dishonesty in that town is disgusting! Everyone knows it and if the rumor mill paid off in Ironton, the town wouldn't need any income tax and would be rich!
It was a great place to raise children when ours were young but my husband and I knew that if we didn't get out and find work with decent pay and benefits, they wouldn't have anymore than we had at that time. The reason the drug and alcohol problem exists so bad there is due to the teenagers don't have any other options. You must provide options for them if you expect them to behave properly. There are only carry-outs and bars everywhere you look. We took the biggest risk of a lifetime, but it has paid off. My husband and I found excellent jobs and our children have graduated and found excellent jobs, drive new cars, and have so many more opportunities. When we return to Ironton now, it is like going back into time. Time has stood still long enough Ironton!
Get on the ball and bring in some new business and give the younger generation a chance there. More people would not have to uproot their families and move if you would just open your eyes, your hearts, and your minds and bring in opportunities for the people. Ironton needs a lot more people than Bob in order to make this happen. Everyone there needs to back him and his followers. Stand up and speak out! Someday maybe someone will hear your voice. Keep the faith! Dare to be brave enough to stand up for your rights and speak out! Good luck and God bless each and every one of you! Our family will be praying for the people of Ironton. Best wishes, Bob, and we look forward to seeing updates. Cincinnati, OH
Excellent site! I found your it surfing the net. I'm active duty military and have been living away from Ironton. The pictures and information really bring back memories. I've visited annually and am looking forward to moving back in a couple of years. Thanks for the site and please keep it up! Location Unknown
I sure would like to see you in the Mayor's race. You seem to have Ironton's interest at heart more then your political career. Ironton, OH
I just found your site, boy does it make me homesick. The pictures of the parade are great, especially the photos showing the people watching the parade. These photographs could have been taken 30 years ago. Not much has changed except employment.
I know this site must take a lot of your time, but it's obvious you are one of those who not only care...but are trying to do something about it.
After being away 18 years, I notice that each time I visit...I realize even more the great character and beauty this town really has. People need to step back and understand...take advantage of the many things the area has that could be used to attract new industry.
Keep up the good work and God bless. Location Unknown
I really thought it was cool to see a site about Ironton, OH. I really didn't expect to see anything like this. The pictures were great and bring back a bunch of memories. I've not been gone from "home" long, but still miss it. San Luis Obispo, CA
I was just looking at your pictures from Sunday's game. They are spectacular. Lucasville, OH
As an Ironton native, and not living there now, I love receiving e-mails from you about the happenings there in Ironton. It is a highlight for me. I really appreciate the wide varieties of topics you cover.
But I would also like to point out the rising star from Ironton (well, even though he graduated from Rock Hill High School), Lee McCormack. He is really busting out in his music career. I recently had a chance to see Lee perform here in WV, and I got the chance to speak to him and we had a great time reminiscing from our youth about Ironton, the Regatta, the cruise line, etc. You should mention how Galaxy Records is trying to boost Ironton and turn out great future stars.
Keep up the great work Bob! Point Pleasant, WV
Came across Bob's web site about Ironton while looking for information about Bobby Bare. Bobby was born in Ironton and not only was Bob quickly responding to my questions but he even offered to take a picture of the Bobby Bare Blvd street sign that was dedicated to my favorite singer. It will be a nice addition to my Bobby Bare web site. Thanks again to Bob! Indiana
Keep up the good work. I really enjoy your website and the coverage of the Ironton Tigers! I appreciate your time and effort. Ironton, OH
Keep up the site. I mean, the pictures make me terribly homesick (I live near Philadelphia now) but without them, I'd go insane. PA
Just thought I'd drop you a line and tell you how much I enjoy and appreciate your website. I love watching the highlights after the games. Thanks again for the time and effort you put into the site! Ironton, OH
Great website! Incredible! Keep it up. Those of us Irontonians who now live out of town enjoy being able to stay in touch with the activities back “home”. Thanks! Grayson, GA
I was born in Lawrence County and have followed Ironton Fighting Tigers Football since the '70s. I think your website of the City of Ironton & the football team is very impressive. Thank you & keep up the good work. Piqua, OH
Good job as always. Keep up the good work. Those are great pictures as only you guys can take. Ironton, OH
I really enjoyed the photos of the Belfry game, especially the video clips. I could stand a lot of that. Columbus, OH
I just wanted to say thanks and great job on your website. I enjoy not only the sports section, but everything else as well. Keep up the good work. Ironton, OH

Keep up the good work! Cincinnati, OH
